Legal and safety

Child safeguarding policy

TutorSouq applies these standards to platform communications, classes, homework, recordings, support and every person using or operating the marketplace.

Version 2026-09-08-draft4. TutorSouq is currently used as the platform trading name. Formal entity, licensing and dispute details will be added after incorporation and legal review.

Child-first commitment

TutorSouq places a child’s best interests, dignity, privacy, and safety first across messages, classes, homework, recordings, support, and marketplace operations.

Professional boundaries

Use approved accounts and class links. Tutors must keep conduct professional and learning-related and must not seek secrecy, private meetings, unnecessary contact details, identity documents, social-media access, or inappropriate images from a child.

Reporting concerns

Report suspected abuse, grooming, exploitation, self-harm risk, threats, sexual content, or serious boundary breaches through the Contact page or support@tutorsouq.com. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency or child-protection services first.

TutorSouq response

TutorSouq may restrict access, preserve relevant records, contact a parent where safe, escalate to competent authorities, investigate fairly, and take proportionate action. Good-faith reporters must not face retaliation.

Recordings and files

Recording is never covert and requires notice and applicable consent. Homework must use approved secure features and avoid unnecessary sensitive information. Access to messages, recordings, and incident records is restricted to authorised people with a legitimate need.

Questions, requests or concerns may be sent through the Contact page or to support@tutorsouq.com.
